Can a two nouns be next to each other?
Yes two nouns in a sentence can be right next to each other. An example would be; I will go get the coffee pot. The words coffee pot are both nouns in the sentence. Although this could be argued were someone to ask what kind of pot and aswer a coffee pot, which is a pot for coffee, which would make it an adjective although there is such an item as a coffee pot which is a noun. As for the rest of your question, I do not have an answer because I don't know to what word in the phrase "finding truth in nature" you want the answer to refer. I will give you a web site that may help you so you may be able to answer the question for yourself.
