Hmmmm? should i transfer??

I am a transfer student and will be attending UCR in the Fall... but heres my problem UCR is a "good" skool but i feel i cheated my self by not doing my homework, and not applying for reach skools after the application period was over i found out that Business economics degrees can be used in Marketing(field of choice).. so i was thinking of applying to UCSB for winter 09..... do you think i should? i want to leave the iE! && have a new scene but my parents want me close to home?? my GPA is above the required minimum......
