At what age are we supposed to get our wisdom teeth?

This my gums in the way back started to hurt painfully and they were swollen the next day ichecked and they hurt still and i see like white like on the bottom the gum. Riqht now they still hurt but my left side and i can litterally bite my cheek. My riqht side is not as painfull as my left.
