Do mothers ever loose that mothering instinct ?

No, I don't think mothers ever lose the mothering instinct. You can see that in a grandmother's face as well-holding her first grandchild. It's so beautiful to be a mother! You are VERY LUCK to have your mother! I am as well since my Mother is 95, but has Alzheimer's disease, and is slowly going down hill.
