Do you have any questions about the Lake Mendocino Alligator?

Because of recent concern over public safety, I would like to use this forum to address the problem of the large alligator that has taken over Lake Mendocino. The original plan was to have a cajun cook out, but due to the recent media attention, PETA has sent letters warning us not to kill the animal. If you have any questions or concerns, please express them here and I will do my best to provide you with good answers. Also, please give me any suggestions you might have as to how to remedy this problem.
