Monitor Resolution Problem?

i have Dell 2011h 20" LED, problem is the product shows its max resolution is 1600x900 but i cant set it through my desktop pc i have 82865G Graphics Controller on my Dell Optiplex GX 270 with 96mb AGP built in, i need to ask is there any way to change resolution manually through registry key?
